THE Masked Singer fans have been sharing their theories over who they think Cricket really is.
ITV viewers have been wowed by the green insects show-stopping performances, but now they have a new verdict about who the character’s identity really is.
Another guessed: “Another post above said Reggie Yates.
“I’m not convinced it’s Reggie as he was on Celebrity Fame Academy about 20 years ago and his voice wasn’t the best but crickets voice is quite decent.”
Another simply stated: “Reggie Yates.”
From presenting documentaries to writing his own TV drama, Reggie is a serious screen star.
From 1998, his long-running presenting relationship with Fearne Cotton began as they both appeared in GMTV show The Disney Club and then Diggit on CITV.
Reggie also wrote a one-off drama for BBC called Make Me Famous, which focused on the impact and consequences of the quick rise to fame that comes with being a reality TV star.
It comes after the green character has dropped a number of clues, leading some to think it could be boxer Anthony Joshua under the mask.
