The visitors picked up their effort again in the third and outscored the Suns 36-23, to cut it to a two-point game heading into the fourth. The hosts regained control in the fourth and held a cushion most of the way, while the Nuggets stayed within striking distance but could not finish the job. Devin Booker led the way for the Suns with 47 points, six rebounds, nine assists, three steals and a block. Kevin Durant followed up with 39 points, nine rebounds, eight assists and two blocks. Meanwhile, Jamal Murray led the Nuggets with 32 points, six rebounds, five assists, a steal and a block. Nikola Jokic amassed 30 points, 17 rebounds, 17 assists and a block, while Michael Porter totaled 21 points, 12 rebounds and a block.
