Railways to operate Special Vande Bharat Trains for IND vs. PAK match in Ahmedabad

The ICC Cricket World Cup 2023 started in India on 5th October. Along with this, cricket fans in India are eagerly waiting for the high-voltage match between India and Pakistan to be held on October 14 at Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad. 

Indian Railways will run special Vande Bharat trains to Ahmedabad for the India vs. Pakistan World Cup match. The high-stakes match between the cross-border rivals is going to take place on 14th October. 

According to News18, this move by Indian Railways comes as a relief to all the cricket fans coming to watch the match as they are dealing with increasing prices of Air Tickets and Hotel Accommodation. 

According to the sources, special trains will be run from Madhya Pradesh, Rajasthan, and Maharashtra with stops at both Sabarmati and Ahmedabad stations, which are close to the Narendra Modi stadium.

Regarding the schedule of the trains, a top official said that the trains will reach the city only a few hours before the start of the game. Regarding the special trains, an official said that their purpose is to provide a means of transportation for the spectators after the match.

This thoughtful planning ensures that passengers can easily return to their destinations after watching the historic match in Ahmedabad. Indian Railways always intends to make this travel experience memorable and unforgettable for all the cricket enthusiasts.

Tickets for the India-Pakistan cricket match sold out rapidly, indicating immense interest in the high-stakes clash at the ICC World Cup 2023. Primary ticket outlets reported full tickets being sold out within just one hour on two specific dates: 29th August and 3rd September.
