Indian Cricket Legend Sachin Tendulkar on January 31 attended the grand unveiling of the Indian Street Premier League (ISPL) in Mumbai. While addressing the media, he spoke about his childhood days and about the first time he played cricket. He briefed about his journey of scoring the first-ever run of his cricketing life. “Our coach used to arrange a lot of practice matches. He believed that batting in practice matches develops your match temperament. It was the first match of my life, I had called all my friends to watch me bat but got out at the first ball. In the second match too, I called them and got out at the first ball again. For the third time, I decided to go alone and ended up scoring one run. The bus journey back home was a pleasant one that day because of the one run. That day I realised the importance of one single run,” said Sachin Tendulkar.
